SOUL

Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.

Bhakti yoga is one of the four paths named in The Bhagavad Gita (‘the Lord’s Song’).

Following the tradition of Raghunath, we teach Bhakti yoga with a contemporary lens. On this path we focus on cultivating a warm, selfless spirit, and accessing the parts of ourselves that are born to give.

By shifting our attention to service we are able to identify the Spirit of the Self. We acknowledge that every action counts, that the quality of our intentions counts more than the results of our labour, and that every choice we make to help other people ultimately empowers the Self. Giving is an act of care and prayer.

In Bhakti classes we reserve a little more time for connection and discussion than in other classes. Community is essential to a spirit-building practice.
