Our Vision

Practice from the inside out

We know that everyone starts a yoga practice for their own reason. With this in mind we aim to empower our students to choose the elements of our offer that work best for them. Each student is unique in achieving their goals. Whether you come to Neshama to address a sports injury, a chronic condition, work stress, or simply as a preventative measure, you will have the opportunity to care for yourself on your terms here.

Our classes use meditation, breathing exercises, movement and relaxation techniques to support physical and mental well-being. Each student can choose their own elements of practice. Regardless of your fitness background, you will feel comfortable and confident in our classes.

Every effort you make to move your body today has long-term benefits. We were all born to move. There are many ways you can move with us — try out different styles to find the right fit for your body.

Connection

Group classes are limited to a maximum of 7-15 students to ensure quality of instruction. Each student will receive personal attention and instruction. Many people come through the studio every day and find that it’s easy to connect and feel at ease.

Inclusivity

Our team is committed to providing a safe and welcoming space for all people regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, age, profession, nationality, disability or religion. We remain aware that everyone comes to us with different abilities, histories and sensitivities and we aim to meet each person where they’re at in their practice.

“If you can breathe, you can do yoga.”

Holistic approach

We follow an integrative approach of mind, body and spirit. The mind is a powerful tool, and so is the body. Some classes focus on physical skills and some classes focus more on mindfulness and meditation. Regardless of where you focus, you’re going to see progress in all areas of your health.

We cooperate with various other health professionals as we find this is an optimal way to support our students.
