Beyond Asana: Awakening the Flow of Prana
In the broader tradition of yoga, asana is not the final aim but a starting point — a way to prepare the body, calm the mind, and support the natural movement of prana, the subtle life force that animates us. As this energy begins to flow with more ease, the practice naturally shifts. Less becomes more. Stillness carries meaning. And the quieter, more refined aspects of yoga come into focus.
This workshop offers space to explore yoga beyond its physical forms — to reconnect with the breath, the inner body, and the subtler layers of awareness that often go unnoticed. Through accessible practices rooted in tradition, we’ll explore how movement, breath, and attention work together to create a more integrated experience of yoga.
Open to all levels, this is an invitation to slow down, tune in, and discover how the practice can evolve when we begin to listen more deeply.
“My philosophy is that anyone who can breathe can do yoga. You don’t have to be super bendy or even very fit to start feeling the benefits of yoga practice. I get a huge amount of satisfaction out of seeing people discover those benefits”
This series of workshops is aimed at all levels of practitioners, although some prior experience with yoga is recommended for the modules on Sunday.
